To avoid spiritual hypocrisy and false teaching HONOR GOD, HONOR CHRIST, and HONOR THE HOLY SPIRIT.

The word “Lord” has to do with the deity and the sovereignty of Christ
 
“Saved” means to be rescued from eternal judgment

To confess Jesus as Lord is to say to Him, “I am the servant and you are the master.”
The motivation is to receive forgiveness of sin and eternal life in heaven.

The gospel is an invitation to give your life completely by faith to the Lord Jesus Christ!
In return he will forgive your sins and give you eternal life in heaven.
 
The gospel is an invitation from the Lord Jesus to lose your life here in order to gain it for eternity.
 
The gospel is not just what you confess with your mouth.  It is what you believe in your heart about all that Christ is, Savior and Lord!
